Fluid Giraffa Candle holder/Vase

VCH-GRF - At once a vase and a candle or fragrance holder, Fluid sits at the intersection of design and craftsmanship. Made using the traditional slip-casting of white earthenware in plaster molds, its rounded form draws inspiration from the ancient gestures of marbling, highlighting both the fluidity of the decoration and the porous nature of ceramics. The tonal green patterns on terracotta are created through a marbling technique, using water-based pigments with an algae solution, alternated with areas glazed in a glossy transparent finish. Each piece is unique, with natural variations occurring within the decorative family shown.
